I love this so much! I remember watching the film version starring Claude Rains, because I always watched old movies with my dad. I've read the book (I think it's still on a shelf somewhere) and I've watched the most recent musical film. I haven't seen the live production though. It's the only thing on my bucket list! Your reflections and descriptions are so gorgeous to read. How wonderful that you had Meg in your life. Thank you Lindsey - this gave me shivers.
