As I contemplate returning to my writing after an unexpected hiatus, I shall think about my manifesto. My creative drive is mostly about sharing my knowledge and concerns about food and food systems.

Number 3 (how do we heart without emojis?!)!! Becoming a mother is probably the greatest identity shift I’ve experienced and becoming intimate with the societal expectations and assumptions placed upon it has been humbling. I too find so much beauty and art in motherhood, not least how we navigate what is imposed upon us vs what we feel, as the relationship between these two states feels so close to the relationship I have with art!
